If you had asked me a year or so ago whether I had a blog, I would have probably laughed. Of course I didn't, I was too busy enjoying my first year at Uni.To me a blogger was just someone with too much free time and not much of a social life .How would I find the time to make a blog, let alone write in it when I was soooo busy having fun? Well one year on, 30 assignments, hundreds of nights out/hangovers/fryups/comedy photographs, plenty of laughs and tears later... here I am writing a blog!!! Yes, the time has come and I have realsied the potential such a platform of communication has.
Having dabbled with blogging when I was travelling in 2005 (I discovered Bebo and made a half hearted msn space) to keep in touch with friends and family at home, the necessity for such a networking and communication device dissolved upon my arrival back to the U.K and back to the mobile phone/good old hotmail.
But things have changed for me a bit now! Having FINALLY sorted the internet on my ancient computer at the beginning of the SECOND year at uni (thanks Jess, Barney and Chris for letting me scrounge on your precious web enabled laptops last year!)I thought it was time to catch up! Within the past 6 or so months I have got myself a Myspace page, created a Facebook account (which admitedly and reluctantly I am addicted to) and now a blogspot.So there we are, this is my first post, how exciting. Watch this space for future posts, (lets see if i can stick it out!)
